Scope of Work
The work to be performed.
The Scope of Work and its associated Scope Items is very important to the success of any work order, it not only provides the members of your organization to know exactly what work is to be performed for each work order. This includes a set of individual scope items needed to not only document the tasks, but also provides a method for pricing each individual task.
Each scope item includes a title, a description, an invoiced switch, as well as its own billing option. The billing option are:
- Project Billing: typically used for charging a flat fee for some task to be performed, such as, disposal fees, etc.
- Billable Hours: used for billing a specific tasked based on the hours and hourly rate for a specific task.
- Labor & Materials: used for billing a specific tasked based on the hours and hourly rate with the addition of the materials required to complete a specific task.
From the Scope of Work screen, the user is able to create new proposals and invoices, edit existing proposals and invoices, for all or individual scope items associated with the work order.
